Why I Created the Ultimate Sorority Recruitment Workbook
If there’s one thing I’ve learned after years of helping students navigate sorority recruitment, it’s this:
Most girls go into recruitment wildly underprepared — not because they aren’t smart, kind, or capable, but because no one has actually taught them how recruitment works.
They’ve heard rumors. They’ve watched TikToks. They’ve gotten conflicting advice from friends, cousins, and random people online.
And somehow they’re expected to walk into one of the biggest social experiences of college feeling confident.
That never sat right with me.
So I created The Ultimate Sorority Recruitment Workbook. Not because I wanted to create “just another rush guide,” but because I wanted to build something genuinely useful — something that would actually help girls feel calmer, more prepared, and more confident throughout the recruitment process.
I wanted it to feel like having a calm, experienced guide in your corner.
What Makes This Sorority Recruitment Workbook Different?
There are plenty of general sorority rush tips online.
But recruitment is nuanced.
What works at one school may not work at another. What feels authentic for one student may feel completely unnatural for someone else.
I wanted this workbook to go beyond surface-level advice.
Instead of vague “just be yourself” guidance, I created practical tools students can actually use in the moment.
Inside the workbook, you’ll find:
✔ A complete sorority recruitment checklist
✔ Guidance for letters of recommendation and recruitment packets
✔ Photo selection tips (including what photos to submit — and what to avoid)
✔ Conversation prep for every round of recruitment
✔ Practice questions for Open House, Philanthropy, Sisterhood, and Preference rounds
✔ Help navigating awkward questions, gossip, politics, relationships, and reputation comments
✔ Body language, confidence, and conversation strategies
✔ Reflection pages to help you process how each house genuinely makes you feel
Because choosing a sorority should never be about popularity, pressure, or rankings.
It should be about finding a place that feels like home.
One of my favorite parts of the workbook is the conversation section because recruitment conversations can feel intimidating — especially if you’re naturally shy, introverted, nervous, or worried about “saying the wrong thing.”
That’s why I included real-life conversation strategies for tricky topics that actually come up during sorority recruitment. Things like awkward questions, gossip, relationships, social life, confidence, and even how to gracefully redirect uncomfortable conversations.
Why I Spent So Much Time Creating This
I wanted this workbook to feel incredibly thorough.
Not overwhelming, But helpful and practical.
Something a student could flip through the night before recruitment and immediately feel more prepared. Something a mom could buy and think, Okay, this actually gives my daughter direction.
I thought carefully about what girls struggle with most:
“How do I answer difficult questions?”
“What if I’m shy?”
“How do recommendation letters work?”
“What photos should I use?”
“How do I know if I actually like a house?”
“What if recruitment feels emotional?”
And instead of giving generic advice, I built tools, scripts, checklists, reflection pages, and strategies that make the process feel manageable.
The Biggest Myth About Sorority Recruitment
The biggest misconception I see?
Girls think recruitment is about impressing everyone. It’s not. It’s about connection.
You are not trying to convince every chapter to love you. You are trying to find the women, values, and environment where you feel most comfortable, supported, and at home. That mindset shift changes everything.
Who This Workbook Is For
This workbook is perfect for:
High school seniors preparing for sorority recruitment
College freshmen going through formal recruitment
Transfer students participating in rush

Students who feel anxious, shy, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin

Whether you’re preparing for sorority recruitment at a large SEC school, a competitive university, or a smaller Panhellenic campus, preparation matters.
Confidence matters.
And having a plan makes a huge difference.
My Goal
My goal with The Ultimate Sorority Recruitment Workbook was simple:
To help girls feel prepared, confident, authentic, and supported.
Because the best version of recruitment isn’t about performing.
It’s about finding your people.
And I truly hope this workbook helps students walk into recruitment feeling a little calmer, a little more confident, and a lot more excited.
